In 2019 the independent music award will take place for the fourth time in Berlin's Tempodrom and StudioNOW will be responsible for concept, planning and realization for the second time. The prizes will be awarded in 13 categories, reflecting the diversity of the scene and honoring those musicians who stand out for their outstanding achievements.

The host Claudia Kamieth leads together with the successful Podcast-Duo from COSMO Machiavelli (Jan Kawelke and Vassili Golod) through the evening. Not only the presenters, but also the laudators and the artistic performances will demonstrate a credible attitude and thus underline the sustainable claim of pop culture. But who is the future of German pop culture? The association provides an outlook at the Line Up. The artists represented - among others Amilli, Alli Neumann, Ilgen-only and Ebow - are currently some of the biggest music hopes in Germany. The historical opening is delivered by gentlemen of the old rock school KADAVAR.
