Designed in 1995 by Andre Heller, and set in the Tirolean landscape, Swarovski Crystal Worlds is one of the most-visited attractions in Austria. It’s a place where artists like Brian Eno, Lee Bul, Yayoi Kusama, Arik Levy, and Salvador Dali have made crystals a new and unique experience. Since its opening, over 14 million guests have visited the Crystal Worlds.
The wonder and amazement that is awakened by the magic of the Swarovski crystals was the inspiration for the development of a light festival concept. Under StudioNOW management, international light, sound and multi-media artists transformed the Crystal Worlds into a magical world in which dreams and reality merge. The already spectacular park and exhibit architecture were supplemented by narrative, dramaturgical, and multi-media elements. The result: A gigantic, immersive audio-visual show and a one-of-a-kind connection between crystal and light.
