Modular.
Dynamic.
Sustainable.
As a project developer operating throughout Germany, OFB places the highest value on sustainable and innovative real estate projects.
The goal: to shape a future in which buildings not only create spaces, but also enrich the environment and people’s lives.
How can that be achieved?
To explore this question, StudioNOW has developed a place where this vision takes shape: the Work//Shift//Space.
It functions not only as a future lab—a space where new ideas on social change, innovation, sustainability, and new ways of working are researched, developed, and tested—but also as a Culture Hub, the new cultural center of OFB.
Here, a large part of the brand’s communicative activities—such as exhibitions, workshops, conferences, showrooms, performances, and keynotes—find their home and generate new impulses.
StudioNOW also directed the Opening Event and has since been continuously involved in the curation and implementation of the ongoing program for the Work//Shift//Space.
Dr. Bernd Schade, CEO, OFB Projektentwicklung GmbH
"How do you build for an agile world of work? For OFB, the key lies in modular construction, dynamic working environments, and sustainable transformation.“

The inspiration for the design of the OFB Work//Shift//Space came from the Maker Space.
At its core is a custom-designed grid box that serves as the building block. Through a variety of tailored add-ons, it transforms—depending on the need—into a room divider, worktable, workbench, stage, stand, counter, shelving system, exhibition piece, or design object. The result is an innovative, modular, and highly flexible furniture system—a true enabler for the agile and open usage concept of the Work//Shift//Space.
